Paperfest’s 4th annual Tour de Fest bike tour will be held rain or shine on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Tour de Fest ‘08 offers cyclists four routes - 18, 40, 70, and 100 miles.

Rest stops along the way will provide bagels, fruit, snacks, beverages, and restrooms. SAG wagons will patrol the routes until 3:00 p.m., providing direction, mechanical assistance and transportation, if needed.

Cyclists are to ride at their own pace and obey all traffic laws, as the roads are open to traffic. For your safety, helmets are mandatory!

Upon completion of the tour, riders must check in at the registration table. Shuttles will be available to transport cyclists to shower facilities at the Heart of the Valley YMCA and back to the 20th annual Paperfest community celebration at Sunset Park.

Free admission allows cyclists and their families to enjoy many children’s activities, entertainers, music, sporting events, food and beverages. A complete schedule of Paperfest events can be found at www.Paperfest.org.

Where is Tour de Fest?

Start and finish point will be Sunset Beach in Kimberly WI.

Directions: Take Hwy 41 to Hwy 441 until exit CE. Take CE west (toward Appleton) to first set of stoplights. Turn right (north) on Kensington Dr to the stop sign. Turn right (east) on Newberry St (turns into Kimberly Ave). Go about 1/2 mile and park in the Fox Valley Christian Fellowship parking lot. Proceed with your bike and gear around the right side of the building where you will see Sunset Beach across the street.
